At Kumon we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic academic Instructor or an academic trainer to join our team. As a Kumon Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching math and reading to children in our program. The ideal candidate will have teaching experience, a strong aptitude for working with children, and the ability to explain difficult concepts to children in a transparent and concise manner.

Duties:
Provide one-on-one or group sessions to students offline and online
Assess students' learning needs and develop personalized lesson plans
Help students understand and complete assignments, homework
Teach study skills and strategies to improve academic performance
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students' educational goals
Utilize instructional materials and resources effectively
Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred
Experience teaching math and reading to children
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to explain difficult concepts in a transparent and concise manner




Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children
Experience working with preschool, elementary, middle, or high school students
Familiarity with different teaching methods and learning styles
Knowledge of subject matter in areas such as Math and English
Ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet the individual needs of students
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and teachers
Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development is a plus
