Role Overview

The Dean – School of Law will provide strategic and academic leadership for the law school, ensuring curricular rigor, BCI compliance, research quality, and robust industry-legal community connect.

Key Responsibilities
Lead curriculum design, academic administration, and program delivery for LLB, LLM, and other law programs.
Ensure full compliance with Bar Council of India (BCI) regulations, UGC norms, and Anna University requirements.
Build moot court, legal aid clinic, and legal research programs to strengthen practical legal training.
Drive research output, journal publications, and faculty development initiatives.
Establish ties with law firms, courts, legal departments,



and corporate legal teams for internships and placements.
Oversee student mentoring, admission process, and performance monitoring.

Eligibility
PhD (Law) from a reputed university; LLM is mandatory.
Minimum 15 years of experience in legal academics, teaching, research, or legal practice with academic involvement.
Solid understanding of BCI norms, legal education standards, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent command of English written and spoken.

Key Conditions
Candidates from West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, and North-East states will not be considered.
Minimum 3-year written commitment mandatory.
