Position: Milling Operator
Experience: Minimum 1- 5 Years
Qualification: ITI Fitter / Diploma in Mechanical
Job Responsibilities
Operate and set up milling machines.
Set the cutting tools and machine before starting the job.
Read basic engineering drawings.
Load and unload raw materials.
Check the machine while it is running to make sure the parts are produced correctly.
Inspect finished parts using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and other measuring instruments.
Make sure all parts are as per the drawing and quality standards.
Clean the machine and carry out basic machine maintenance.
Replace worn-out tools or inform the supervisor if there is any machine problem.
Follow all safety rules and wear the required safety equipment while working.
Basic knowledge of CNC milling machines and program editing is an added advantage.
Record daily production details and machine-related information.
Work with the production and quality teams to complete daily production targets.
Skills Required
Experience in operating conventional or CNC milling machines.
Basic knowledge of engineering drawings.
Knowledge of measuring instruments.
Good attention to quality.
Responsible, punctual, and able to work as a team.
