Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee day-to-day plant and manufacturing operations.
Plan and achieve production targets as per business requirements.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources.
Monitor production processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and operational performance.
Ensure products are manufactured according to defined quality standards and specifications.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, Production, and Logistics teams.
Monitor plant expenses and control manufacturing and operational costs.
Develop and implement preventive and corrective actions to minimize downtime and production losses.
Ensure proper maintenance and availability of plant machinery and equipment.




Monitor raw material availability, inventory levels, and material consumption.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, statutory, and company policies.
Drive continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and process optimization initiatives.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, cost, safety, and delivery.
Manage and develop plant employees, supervisors, and production teams.
Conduct performance reviews and identify training and development requirements.
Investigate production issues, breakdowns, quality problems, and process deviations.
Prepare and present plant performance reports to senior management.
Ensure timely dispatch and achievement of customer delivery commitments.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, discipline, quality, and continuous improvement.
