Job Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining product and process quality, identifying quality issues, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with defined quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor incoming, in-process and final product quality.
Conduct inspections, prepare quality reports and maintain documentation.
Identify defects, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Use quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 8D, CAPA, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto and SPC.
Support process improvement and reduction of rejection, rework and customer complaints.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase and Design teams for quality issues.
Participate in internal audits and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
Handle customer complaints and support corrective/preventive actions.
Qualification & Experience:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production or related engineering.
25 years of experience in a manufacturing/engineering industry.
Positive knowledge of quality tools, inspection methods and basic measuring instruments.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 / QMS will be preferred.
Positive analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
