Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mendix Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications using the Mendix low-code platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Mendix development, application architecture, integrations, security, performance optimization, and technical leadership.

The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, QA, DevOps, and development teams to deliver secure, high-quality applications aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications using Mendix.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, user stories, workflows, and reusable components.
- Develop complex domain models, microflows, nanoflows, integrations, and responsive user interfaces.
- Define application architecture, development standards, naming conventions, and reusable design patterns.
- Integrate Mendix applications with REST/SOAP APIs, databases, identity providers, and enterprise systems.
- Implement authentication, authorization, user roles, access rules, and data security.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, integrations, and page-loading times.
- Develop custom Java actions, JavaScript components, and extensions where required.
- Conduct code and model reviews to ensure quality, security, consistency, and maintainability.
- Develop and support automated testing, integration testing, regression testing, performance testing, and UAT.
- Manage application deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.




- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
- Monitor application health, logs, performance, availability, and platform usage.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX Designers, Architects, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams.
- Estimate development effort, identify technical risks, and contribute to sprint and release planning.
- Mentor junior and mid-level Mendix developers and provide technical guidance.
- Coordinate technical delivery across development teams and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Ensure applications comply with security, data protection, accessibility, and organizational governance requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate new Mendix platform features, Marketplace components, and emerging low-code technologies.
- Promote component reuse, automation, continuous improvement, and Mendix best practices.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business objectives and deliver measurable value.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on experience in Mendix.
- Strong knowledge of Mendix application development and architecture.
- Experience with Domain Models, Microflows, Nanoflows, Workflows, Pages, and Security.




- Strong experience in REST/SOAP API integrations and enterprise system integrations.
- Good understanding of databases, SQL, authentication, authorization, and application security.
- Experience with Mendix deployment and application lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with performance optimization and production troubleshooting.
- Experience with custom Java actions and JavaScript is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring development teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Mendix certification such as Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert is preferred.

- Experience working on large-scale enterprise Mendix applications.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
- Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with Mendix Marketplace components.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture and integration patterns.
- Experience working with distributed or cross-functional development teams.
