/n Mental Health Counselor / Student Wellness Counselor /n Sanjivani Group of Institutes & Sanjivani University /n Location: Kopargaon, Maharashtra /n Reports To: HAG & CHRO /n Position Summary /n Sanjivani Group of Institutes invites applications for the position of Mental Health Counselor to promote the psychological well-being of students and employees across its diverse educational ecosystem, including Engineering, Polytechnic, Pharmacy, Management, Commerce, Computer Applications, Postgraduate, and Doctoral programmes. /n The Counselor will provide confidential psychological counseling, crisis intervention, preventive mental health programmes, and emotional wellness initiatives while fostering a healthy, inclusive, and supportive campus setting. The role also extends to promoting employee mental well-being through awareness programmes, counseling support, and stress management initiatives. /n Key Responsibilities /n 1.
Student Counseling
Services /n /n
- Provide confidential individual counseling to students experiencing:

- Anxiety and depression

- Relationship concerns

- Family issues

- Emotional distress

- Self-esteem concerns

- Examination stress

- Adjustment to campus life

- Career uncertainty

- Conduct intake assessments and maintain confidential counseling records.

- Develop individualized support and intervention plans.

- Monitor student progress through scheduled follow-up sessions.

Crisis
Intervention & Risk Management /n /n
- Provide immediate psychological support during crises.
/n
- Assess and manage students at risk of self-harm or suicide.
/n
- Coordinate with parents, medical professionals, and institutional authorities during emergencies.
/n
- Maintain crisis response protocols in collaboration with the Medical Officer, Hostel Wardens, and Security Department.
/n
- Refer cases requiring psychiatric intervention to qualified mental health specialists.
