Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle DBA / Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and production support. The candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle DBA activities, performance optimization, and Linux/Unix environments.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and administer Oracle databases in development, test, and production environments.
Perform Oracle database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery.
Monitor database health, availability, performance, and capacity.
Perform SQL and database performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing, execution plans, and database parameters.
Troubleshoot database performance issues, locking, blocking, deadlocks, and connectivity issues.
Handle RMAN backup and recovery and ensure database backup integrity.
Work on database security, user management, roles, privileges, and access controls.
Support database migrations, upgrades, and production deployments.




Work closely with application and development teams to identify and resolve database-related issues.
Write and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries and stored procedures where required.
Perform database monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Automate routine DBA activities using scripting wherever possible.

Mandatory Skills
5+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience
Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration
Excellent knowledge of Oracle Performance Tuning
Robust expertise in SQL and PL/SQL
Strong experience in Linux/Unix settings this is highly preferred
Experience with RMAN Backup & Recovery
Good understanding of Oracle database architecture
Experience in database troubleshooting and production support
Knowledge of database monitoring and performance analysis
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
