Roles and Responsibilities
Plan, execute and monitor day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities across the CHP.
Ensure reliable operation and maximum availability of critical material-handling equipment.
Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of CHP mechanical equipment.
Maintain and troubleshoot belt conveyors, crushers, vibrating screens, feeders, magnetic separators, dust suppression systems, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, lubrication systems and associated equipment.
Monitor the condition of bearings, gearboxes, couplings, shafts, rollers, pulleys, belts and other rotating components.
Identify abnormal vibration, temperature, noise, leakage and other signs of equipment deterioration and initiate corrective action.
Ensure proper inspection, alignment, lubrication and condition monitoring of rotating equipment.




Plan and execute planned shutdown and major maintenance activities within the stipulated schedule.
Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) of repetitive and major mechanical breakdowns and implement corrective/preventive actions.
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
510 years of relevant experience in mechanical operation and maintenance.
Experience in Coal Handling Plants, mining, power plants, cement, steel, bulk material handling or other heavy industrial settings preferred.
Candidates with solid experience in conveyor systems and heavy material-handling equipment will be preferred.
