Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineering Fresher to join our Maintenance team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the operation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery. The role provides an chance to gain practical experience in industrial maintenance and plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior maintenance engineers in preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.

Carry out routine inspection of mechanical equipment to identify abnormalities, wear, leakage, vibration, noise, and other issues.

Assist in troubleshooting mechanical failures and implementing corrective actions.

Support maintenance activities involving pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, pipelines, tanks, compressors, and other mechanical equipment.

Assist in dismantling, repair, alignment, assembly, and installation of mechanical equipment.

Monitor equipment condition and maintain proper maintenance records.

Follow preventive maintenance schedules and ensure maintenance activities are completed on time.

Assist in identifying the root cause of recurring equipment failures.

Coordinate with production and other departments during maintenance activities.

Ensure proper use of tools, tackles, and maintenance equipment.





Follow safety, GMP, housekeeping, and company maintenance procedures.

Maintain records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance, spare parts, and equipment history.

Assist in maintaining adequate stock of mechanical spares and consumables.

Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, trial runs, and modification works when required.

Required Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Freshers are eligible to apply.

Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and industrial equipment.

Basic understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Knowledge of engineering drawings and basic measurement tools is an advantage.

Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel is preferred.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to learn quickly and work under the guidance of senior engineers.

Safety-conscious and disciplined approach to work.

Willingness to work in shifts and attend breakdown/emergency maintenance when required.

Preferred

Candidates with internship or industrial training experience will be preferred.

Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, fabrication, piping, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating equipment will be an added advantage.
