Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase hospital visibility, patient footfall, and brand awareness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, clinics, nursing homes, diagnostic centres, corporate organizations, TPAs, insurance companies, and other referral sources.
- Conduct regular doctor and referral visits to promote hospital services, specialties, consultants, diagnostic facilities, and treatment packages.
- Generate new patient referrals and strengthen existing referral networks.
- Coordinate with consultants and clinical departments to understand and effectively communicate hospital services.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external doctors, patients, attendants, corporate clients, and referral partners.
- Promote hospital services through appropriate offline and digital marketing activities.
- Organize and coordinate health camps, CME programmes, doctor meetings, awareness programmes, corporate health check-ups, and community outreach activities.
- Develop corporate tie-ups with companies, institutions, schools, colleges, and other organizations for health check-ups and healthcare services.
- Coordinate with the hospital administration, billing, insurance/TPA, nursing, and clinical departments for smooth patient services.
- Handle patient and attendant queries professionally and facilitate resolution of service-related concerns.
- Maintain regular follow-up with referred patients and referral doctors, wherever appropriate and within hospital policies.
- Collect market intelligence regarding competing hospitals, pricing, packages, specialties, and promotional activities.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly marketing reports covering doctor visits, leads, referrals, admissions, camps, corporate contacts, and revenue generated through marketing initiatives.
- Achieve assigned targets for OPD registrations, admissions, diagnostics, procedures, health packages, and corporate/referral business.
- Ensure ethical, professional, and compliant marketing practices in accordance with applicable healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient, doctor, hospital, and business information.
- Represent the hospital professionally at external meetings, conferences, medical events, and community programmes.
- Coordinate hospital branding, promotional material, brochures, banners, digital campaigns, social media activities, and local outreach initiatives.
- Perform any other marketing, PRO, business-development, or patient-relations responsibilities assigned by hospital management.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, or a related field will be preferred.
- 15 years of experience in hospital marketing, healthcare business development, pharmaceutical marketing, diagnostic centre marketing, or PRO activities.
- Candidates with existing relationships with local doctors, clinics, nursing homes, corporates, TPAs, and healthcare referral networks will be preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, networking, and relationship-management skills.
- Good knowledge of the local healthcare market and referral ecosystem.
- Presentable, confident, energetic, and professionally groomed.
- Strong patient-handling and negotiation skills.
- Ability to independently conduct field visits and develop new referral and corporate relationships.
- Target-oriented with the ability to work under performance-based objectives.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, email, WhatsApp Business, social media, and digital marketing tools.
- Valuable command of English and Hindi; knowledge of the local language will be an advantage.
- Should possess a positive attitude, professional integrity, and strong commitment to patient service.
- Should be willing to travel locally for doctor visits, corporate meetings, camps, and business-development activities.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
