Role Responsibilities
Manage and optimize high-availability MongoDB and MariaDB settings across on-prem and cloud (AWS/Azure).
Design, deploy, and monitor database schemas, indexes, replication, and sharding strategies for performance and scalability.
Implement automated backup, recovery, auditing, and disaster recovery processes aligned with SLAs.
Lead performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning for OLTP and analytical workloads.
Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines, enforce security best practices, and automate routine DBA tasks.
Document architectures, runbooks,



and compliance controls; mentor junior team members on MongoDB/MariaDB best practices.
