Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for bulk intermediates, solvents, and specialty chemicals.
Manage the complete procurement cycle.
Build and maintain coordination with vendors & internal stakeholders.
Follow the GMP guidelines.
Explore the recent saving prospects.
Implement E Procurement tools.
Coordinate supplier technical audits.
Manage contract negotiations covering pricing formulas (linked to feedstock indices like crude, benzene, metal index etc.), credit terms, and supply security clauses.
Collaborate with R&D; and process engineering teams to source recent molecules for scale-up and commercialization.
Partner with logistics to optimize multi-modal chemical transportation (tankers, ISO tanks, bulk containers, hazardous cargo handling).
