Key Responsibilities
Develop and modify engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for manufacturing projects.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Sourcing, NPD, and Maintenance teams to ensure effective product realization.
Review and optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and ease of assembly (DFA).
Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering documentation, and technical records.
Support process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
Resolve manufacturing and design-related issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Coordinate prototype development, testing, and implementation of design changes.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and customer specifications.
Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide technical support to production teams and assist with customer or site-related engineering requirements when necessary.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering (B.E./B.Tech)
5–8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, or industrial equipment design industries.
