Basic & Detail design of Generator assemblies and components.
Layouts, Drawings, BoMs, Purchase Specifications, Calculations, Analysis
Continuous improvement of product & processes, optimisation
Technical troubleshooting at shop and site
Handling customer queries and approvals for Indian and International projects
Design collaboration and reviews with technical experts in parent company at Europe
Preferred candidate profile
Mechanical Engineering B.E. / M. E. / M. Tech
10+ years of experience in mechanical design of of large hydro generators or other heavy engineering equipment using 3D CAD software (NX and TeamCenter preferable)
Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering design concepts
Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes involved
Experience of technical trouble shooting
Proactive, avid learner, team player, valuable communication ability
