Consultant Cardiologist (Non-Invasive Cardiology)

Position: Consultant Cardiologist Non-Invasive Cardiology

Department: Cardiology

Location: House of Diagnostics (HOD)

Reporting To: Group Medical Director / Medical Director

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Consultant Cardiologist to provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiac diagnostic and clinical services, ensuring accurate interpretation, quality patient care, and adherence to clinical and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac investigations and procedures, including:
2D Echocardiography
Stress Echocardiography, where applicable
TMT / Exercise Stress Testing
Other non-invasive cardiac investigations as required.
Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports with appropriate clinical observations.
Correlate imaging and cardiac investigation findings with clinical information.
Identify critical or abnormal findings and communicate them promptly to the referring physician/patient, as appropriate.
Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, documentation, and clinical ethics.




Ensure proper functioning and appropriate utilization of cardiac diagnostic equipment.
Coordinate with radiologists, pathologists, physicians, technicians, and other healthcare specialists wherever required.
Participate in quality assurance, clinical audits, protocol development, and process improvement initiatives.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with applicable regulatory and organizational requirements.
Support the organization in developing and expanding non-invasive cardiology services.

Qualifications
MBBS with MD/DNB in General Medicine and DM/DNB in Cardiology from a recognized institution.
Maharashtra Medical Council
Relevant experience in non-invasive cardiology and cardiac diagnostics.
Experience in echocardiography and interpretation of cardiac investigations will be preferred.
