Accounts Executive / Accountant (GST, TDS & Compliance)

Experience Required: 4 years

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter (preferred)

CTC: As per company standards

Job Purpose To manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensure accurate GST and TDS compliance, support statutory filings and reconciliations, and maintain adherence to applicable accounting and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain books of accounts in ERP/Tally/SAP.
Record journal entries, vendor bills, customer invoices, and payment transactions.
Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

GST Compliance
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns) within due dates.
Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase register and identify mismatches.
Coordinate with vendors for GST corrections and follow-up on pending reconciliations.




Maintain GST records, working papers, and support documents for audits and assessments.

TDS Compliance
Deduct TDS as per applicable sections of the Income Tax Act.
Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.).
Reconcile TDS with Form 26AS and TRACES.
Generate and issue TDS certificates (Form 16A) to vendors.

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure timely payment of GST, TDS, qualified tax, and other statutory dues.
Maintain compliance calendars and track filing deadlines.
Support internal, statutory, GST, and tax audits by providing required schedules and documents.
Assist in responding to notices, queries, and assessments from tax authorities.

MIS & Reporting
Prepare periodic MIS reports related to GST, TDS, vendor balances, and compliance status.
Support the Finance Manager in preparing financial statements and audit schedules.
