Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and provide frontline assistance at the counter.
Handle cash transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, cheque deposits, and cash transfers.
Verify customer identity and follow all KYC and compliance procedures.
Count, manage, and balance cash in the drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
Process payments for loan installments, credit card bills, and utility bills.
Issue demand drafts, pay orders, and cashiers cheques when required.
Handle cheque encashment, cheque verification, and basic clearing activities.
Maintain accuracy in data entry and update all transactions in the banking system.
Assist customers with basic service requests such as passbook updates or account information.




Identify prospects to crosssell bank products like savings accounts, digital banking, insurance, and loans.
Maintain confidentiality and report any suspicious transactions.
Follow branch cashhandling, safety, and security protocols.

Skills Required
