We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of practical experience in industrial fabrication and manufacturing. You will play a key role in overseeing shop floor operations, ensuring that all structural equipment and industrial components are manufactured accurately and efficiently to meet project standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily workshop fabrication and manufacturing activities.
Read, interpret, and execute technical engineering drawings, including piping and drain layout designs.
Oversee the manufacturing processes for industrial components such as storage tanks, leak sealing clamps, and demister pads.
Perform weight calculations, material estimations, and technical documentation for ongoing projects.
Conduct quality inspections of raw materials and finished fabricated components to ensure precision and compliance with client specifications.
Coordinate with local hardware and electrical vendors to ensure the timely procurement of operational materials.
Work closely with the shop floor workforce to optimize production processes, maintain safety standards,
and minimize material waste.
Requirements
Education: Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven experience in a fabrication or manufacturing setting.
Technical Skills:
Robust understanding of manufacturing processes, welding, machining, and material properties.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and layout designs.
Hands-on experience with industrial components and structural equipment is highly preferred.
Soft Skills: Solid problem-solving abilities, good communication skills, and the capacity to manage and guide workshop personnel effectively.
Job Types: Permanent, Full time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
