- High school, ITI/diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related trade preferred.
- 1–2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a food processing, manufacturing, or industrial plant environment • Demonstrated proficiency in electrical work: wiring, motor controls, control panels, troubleshooting circuits • Demonstrated proficiency in plumbing work: pipefitting, valves, pumps, drainage systems, and food-grade/sanitary piping standards.
- Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements as they relate to equipment maintenance and documentation.
- Experience maintaining maintenance records, equipment logs • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under time pressure.
- Ability to work in a plant setting, including exposure to varying temperatures (refrigerated/freezer areas), noise, wet floors, and machinery.
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency call-outs as needed.
