Role Description The Machine Learning Engineer role is a full time, hybrid position based in Kolhapur, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the Machine Learning Engineer will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and pipelines to support AI-driven products and solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training and evaluation, and optimization for performance and scalability.

The role involves collaborating with software engineers, data scientists, designers, and product stakeholders to integrate models into production systems and improve existing AI features.



The Machine Learning Engineer will also contribute to documentation, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development practices, while staying current with advances in ML and AI.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, Algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Applied expertise in Statistics and Pattern Recognition for data analysis, modeling, and performance evaluation.
- Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and modern machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in ML (such as Python) and experience with version control (e.g., Git).
- Experience building and deploying ML models in production environments, preferably on cloud platforms.
- Ability to work in hybrid teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
- Exposure to real-world projects in AI/ML, internships, or open-source contributions will be considered beneficial.
