Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Supervisor – Inbound & Outbound to manage day-to-day material movement, warehouse operations, manpower, and coordination with production teams at the Bosch Automotive facility. The role involves ensuring timely receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of materials while maintaining quality, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise inbound / outbound logistics operations, including material receipt, verification, storage, picking, staging, and dispatch.
- Manage and allocate manpower across inbound / outbound, material handling, and production-support activities.
- Coordinate with the Production, Warehouse, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Ensure on-time material handover to the production team as per production schedules and requirements.
- Monitor material availability and coordinate replenishment to prevent production line stoppages.
- Perform SAP MM transactions related to material movements, goods receipt, stock monitoring, and inventory-related activities.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements, inventory, receipts, dispatches, and shortages.
- Ensure proper material handling, storage, identification, segregation,
and FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Maintain and monitor the quality of incoming and outgoing materials, including identification of damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming materials.
- Coordinate with Quality teams for inspection, rejection, segregation, and disposition of non-conforming materials.
- Monitor loading and unloading activities and ensure safe handling of materials using appropriate material-handling equipment.
- Ensure adherence to Supply Chain Management processes, warehouse procedures, SOPs, and Bosch operational requirements.
- Track inbound and outbound material status and resolve delays, shortages, discrepancies, and operational issues.
- Prepare daily operational reports covering manpower, material movement, inventory, pending activities, and dispatch status.
- Conduct shift handovers and communicate critical operational information to the incoming shift.
- Ensure compliance with 5S, safety, housekeeping, and material-handling standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, material flow, and operational efficiency.
- Work effectively in rotational shifts, including day/night shifts as per business requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Inbound & Outbound Logistics Operations.
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP MM and material movement processes.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and warehouse operations.
- Experience in manpower planning, allocation, and supervision.
- Strong understanding of material handling and inventory control.
- Ability to ensure on-time material delivery/handover to production.
- Knowledge of material quality checks, segregation, and handling of damaged/non-conforming materials.
- Good coordination skills with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
- Ability to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Positive communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in automotive/manufacturing logistics or warehouse operations will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SAP MM is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a large-scale manufacturing or automotive plant is an advantage.

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
