About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Executive to join the Trade, Transport & Logistics team supporting our client, Hitachi Energy.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in Logistics / Supply Chain operations, with good knowledge of SAP and strong proficiency in Advanced MS Excel. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day logistics activities, shipment tracking, SAP transactions, reporting, data analysis, stakeholder coordination, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage day-to-day logistics and shipment-related activities.

· Update and maintain logistics transactions and relevant information in SAP.

· Prepare daily, weekly, and periodic logistics reports using Advanced MS Excel.

· Track shipments, deliveries, dispatch status, and ensure timely follow-up.

· Coordinate with transporters, vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders for smooth logistics operations.

· Monitor logistics activities and proactively follow up on delays, pending shipments, and operational issues.

· Identify and help resolve logistics-related issues and delays in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

· Analyze logistics data and prepare MIS reports for operational and management review.

· Ensure timely, accurate, and complete logistics documentation and records.

· Maintain and update logistics trackers and databases.

· Support the team in identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.





· Ensure adherence to defined processes, procedures, and service-level requirements.

· Provide regular updates to the team on shipment status, pending activities, and operational challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 2–3 years of relevant experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related operations.

· Good knowledge of SAP and experience in updating/maintaining logistics transactions.

· Advanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, data analysis, and reporting.

· Strong knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain operations.

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to prepare, maintain, and analyze reports using Excel.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

· Ability to handle logistics data accurately and efficiently.

· Strong follow-up skills with internal and external stakeholders.

· Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.

· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Skills

· Exposure to transportation, shipment tracking, dispatch, freight, or distribution operations.

· Experience working in a manufacturing or MNC workplace will be an advantage.

· Basic exposure to Power BI will be an added advantage.

· Experience in preparing MIS and management reports will be preferred.
