Role Description This is a full-time, in office Life Insurance Agent role based in Raurkela.

The Life Insurance

Agent will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their financial protection and savings needs, recommend suitable LIC insurance products, and support them throughout the policy issuance process. Daily activities include generating leads, conducting customer meetings, explaining policy features and benefits, and assisting with documentation and application completion. The role also involves maintaining ongoing client relationships, handling queries and policy servicing,



and coordinating with branch staff to ensure timely processing of proposals and claims.

The agent is expected to adhere to regulatory guidelines, meet sales targets ethically, and participate in training and development programs offered by LIC.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively promote and explain life insurance products.
- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Finance to understand financial planning needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build trust, provide clear information, and manage long-term client relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse customers in urban and semi-urban settings.
- Basic proficiency in using computers and digital tools for policy applications, documentation, and customer follow-up.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented attitude with high ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance.
- Minimum educational qualification typically at higher secondary level; a diploma or degree in commerce, finance, or related fields is beneficial.
- Prior experience in financial services or sales is an advantage, though motivated candidates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.
