Role - Regional HR Manager

Job Purpose The Regional HR Manager – Chennai &
Salem will be responsible for leading and executing the end-to- end HR strategy for all Vasan Eye Care units across the Chennai region. The role ensures alignment with Vasan Group HR policies while addressing region-specific workforce, compliance, and operational HR needs to support business growth and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
•

Drive regional HR strategy in alignment with Vasan Group HR objectives.

•

Act as a strategic HR partner to Regional Business Heads and Unit Heads.

•

Support expansion, recent center launches, and workforce planning across Chennai.
Talent Acquisition &
Workforce Planning

•

Oversee recruitment for clinical, paramedical, and non-clinical roles across Chennai.

•

Ensure timely manpower availability for hospitals.

•

Strengthen employer branding and regional hiring partnerships.
Performance Management &
Employee Engagement

•

Implement and monitor the Performance Management System (PMS).

•

Drive employee engagement initiatives, town halls, and retention programs.

•





Address employee grievances and ensure a positive work culture.
HR Operations &
Compliance

•

Ensure compliance with state and central labor laws applicable in Chennai.

•

Oversee payroll coordination, statutory compliance, audits, and inspections.

•

Maintain HR MIS, reports, and dashboards for Group HR review.
Policy Implementation &
Governance

•

Implement Vasan Group HR policies consistently across the Chennai region.

•

Recommend region-specific policy enhancements where required.

•

Ensure ethical HR practices and adherence to organizational values.
Team Leadership
•

Lead, mentor, and develop regional and unit-level HR teams.

•

Build HR capability across locations to ensure standardized HR delivery.

Qualifications &
Experience

Education

•

MBA / MSW in Human Resources or equivalent from a reputed institution.

Experience

•

7–10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in healthcare / hospital /Retail/ multi-location organizations.

•

Minimum 4–5 years in a regional HR leadership role.
