Qualification: B.Tech + Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety / Post Diploma in Industrial Safety
Location: Chhatisgarh Talaipalli
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all applicable industrial safety, HSE, and statutory requirements.
Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification across the plant.
Implement and monitor Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Safe Work Procedures.
Ensure proper compliance with PPE, LOTO, work-at-height, confined-space, hot-work, and electrical safety procedures.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
Monitor contractor safety and ensure adherence to site safety standards.
Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
Conduct regular fire and emergency preparedness drills and ensure emergency response systems are functional.
Maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident reports,
and other HSE documentation.
Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to identify and eliminate workplace hazards.
Ensure secure working practices in CHP/refinery/process plant operations.
Support internal and external safety audits and statutory inspections.
Required Skills
Robust knowledge of Industrial Safety & HSE Management
Experience in CHP, refinery, oil & gas, petrochemical, or process plant
Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification

Incident/Accident Investigation
Fire & Emergency Safety
Contractor Safety Management
Good communication and safety training skills
Robust knowledge of safety procedures and statutory compliance
Mandatory Requirements
B.Tech degree Mandatory
Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety / Post Diploma in Industrial Safety – Mandatory
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Safety Officer
Experience specifically in Cold Handling Plant (CHP) or Refinery preferred/required.
