Purpose/Objective To Manage financial and accounting operation of the organization activities which includes including bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.

To act as Controller of Accounts and Tax of AESL Business.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities - Provide strategic support for strap preparation.

- Support for initiatives like IMC, BI. BPT, Sustainability report.

- Support for initiatives like IMC, BI. People Development- To nurture the team for the timely completion of above tasks by providing requested training and to enable them to carry out their function effectively.

Financial Responsibility- Budget Vs Actual Analysis and Control, Project Budgeting and Cost Control - Bank Guarantee Control (Follow up for amendment, Upload, Confirm, Release etc.

) - Import Duty reconciliation & Material reconciliation of STL, RRWTL & CHWRTL - Inventory Control of AESL, ATIL, MEGPTCL, STL, RRWTL & CHWRTL Operational Responsibilities- Ensuring preparation of Accounts as per Industrial standard.

- Ensuring Budget Preparation and timely submission of MIS with Variance Analysis.
- Ensuring statutory compliances under Direct and Indirect tax act.
- Preparing accounts as per regulatory requirement as per Provision of CERC and MERC.
- Internal Financial Control to avoid any fraud.
- To develop Compliance as per SOP and DOA.

- Ensuring Books Hygiene.
- Ensuring Statutory Audit, Cost Audit, VAT Audit & Tax Audit in timely manner as per the Listing requirement.
- Timely Completion of all the assessment and Liaoning with the Consultants and the government agencies.

- Ensuring adequate insurance of all assets.
- Site accounting of all Projects.
- People Development.




- To nurture the team for the timely completion of above tasks by providing requested training and to enable them to carry out their function effectively.

- Books Hygiene like Vendor Ageing, Open SES/GR-IR, Open PR/PO/SO Clearing, Profit Center clearing.
- Timely Completion of Commodity Transaction - Timely Books Closing in accordance with INDAS.
- Sales Tax, Service Tax, registration under New Company and Sales Tax, Service Tax, Income Tax assessment of all Companies in coordination with Abex.

- Coordinate with Project and O&M; team for proper booking of consumption and capitalization.
- Legatrix implementation and Monthly Compliances.
- Arrangement of CA Certificate for all Projects.

- Timely raising of Sales Invoice under AESL O&M; Contract, Scrap & Sale Contract - Commodity trading matter.
- Compliance under Sales Tax, Service Tax, and Income Tax Act for all Companies under Transmission Division.
- Timely issue of Different Statutory Forms to the vendors.

- Budgetary Control and Variance Analysis (Monthly basis).
- Timely arrangement and Completion of VAT Audit, Cost Audit, tax Audit, Internal Audit and Assessment under Sales Tax Act, Income Tax Act.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: CA (Charted Accountant) Experiences: Minimum 12 Years of relevant experience - Accounts knowledge, Control Over SAP FICO, MM, FM Module & basic Knowledge SAP BI & BPC Tools.
