L2 Cloud Engineer – AWSJob Summary

We are looking for an L2 Cloud Engineer with strong AWS CSP experience to manage, support, troubleshoot, secure, automate, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure. The role involves L2 incident management, cloud administration, monitoring, automation, security, cost optimization, and collaboration with L3, DevOps, and security teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and provide L2 support for AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Route 53, ELB, and CloudWatch.
- Troubleshoot AWS networking, security groups, IAM policies, storage, server performance, and cloud incidents; perform and document RCA.
- Support multi-account AWS environments using AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
- Automate AWS operations using Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS Systems Manager (SSM), and scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Support basic CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Implement AWS security best practices including IAM, least privilege, MFA, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and compliance controls.
- Support AWS Backup, disaster recovery, auto-scaling, load balancing, and high availability.
- Monitor and optimize AWS environments using CloudWatch, AWS Config, and tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Optimize AWS resources for cost, performance, scalability, and right-sizing, including analysis of AWS billing and usage reports.




- Support AWS migration projects, including data migration, VM conversion, and application rehosting.
- Work with L3, DevOps, security, and architecture teams on infrastructure improvements and design discussions.
- Maintain SOPs, troubleshooting guides, procedures, RCA documents, and knowledge base articles.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of AWS Cloud Engineering, System Administration, or Cloud Support experience.
- Hands-on experience with EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Route 53, ELB, and CloudWatch.
- Understanding of AWS networking, IAM, security groups, and security best practices.
- Basic experience with Python/Bash/PowerShell, Terraform/CloudFormation, and cloud automation.
- Experience troubleshooting networking, storage, server performance, and AWS infrastructure issues.
- Ability to analyze AWS costs, billing, and usage reports for optimization.
- Solid troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty – Preferred
- ITIL v4 Foundation – Preferred

Travel 25% Domestic & International travel required.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
