L2 Patch Management / System Administrator

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced L2 System Administrator with strong expertise in Patch Management, SCCM/SSCM, Microsoft Intune, Office 365 Administration, and Windows System Administration. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing, scheduling, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting patches across enterprise systems while ensuring system security and compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesPatch Management

- Install and deploy Windows and application patches across servers, desktops, and laptops.
- Perform patch analysis to identify required, missing, failed, and security-critical patches.
- Review patch releases, security updates, and applicable KB articles.
- Prepare and maintain patch deployment schedules according to business requirements.
- Execute patch deployment during approved maintenance windows.
- Monitor patch deployment status and troubleshoot failed installations.
- Perform post-patch validation and ensure systems are operational.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly patch compliance and deployment reports.

SCCM / SSCM Administration
- Manage software and patch deployments using SCCM/SSCM.
- Create and manage device collections and deployment groups.
- Configure and monitor Software Update Groups (SUGs).
- Troubleshoot SCCM client health and deployment failures.
- Monitor compliance status and take corrective actions.
- Manage application/software deployment through SCCM.

Microsoft Intune Administration
- Manage Windows devices through Microsoft Intune.
- Configure and deploy applications, policies, configuration profiles, and security policies.
- Monitor device compliance and resolve non-compliance issues.




- Support Windows Autopilot and device enrollment activities.
- Troubleshoot Intune policy, application, and device deployment issues.

O365 Management & Administration
- Perform basic Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration.
- Manage users, licenses, groups, and Microsoft 365 services.
- Troubleshoot Office 365 installation, update, and application-related issues.
- Support Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Monitor and resolve user/service-related incidents.

System Administration
- Provide L2 support for Windows desktop and server environments.
- Troubleshoot OS, software, performance, and system-related issues.
- Perform system health checks and preventive maintenance.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with L3 teams and vendors for complex issues.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server.
- Hands-on experience with SCCM/SSCM.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
- Good understanding of Windows Patch Management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Administration.
- Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
- Knowledge of software/application deployment.
- Valuable troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Understanding of ITIL, Incident, Change and Problem Management.

Experience3–6 years of experience in System Administration, Patch Management, SCCM/Intune Administration, or End User Computing. Qualification

- Graduate/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, AZ-800/AZ-801, or equivalent would be an advantage.
