Required Technical Skills
Robust hands-on experience in SAN and enterprise storage administration.
Experience with HPE MSA storage.
Experience with HPE Scality S3 / object storage.
Valuable knowledge of block storage concepts: LUNs, RAID, pools, volumes, snapshots, replication, and thin provisioning.
Robust knowledge of SAN switches, preferably Brocade or Cisco.
Knowledge of FC protocols, WWPN/WWNN, zoning, VSANs, ISLs, and multipathing.
Experience with Tape Libraries and tape drives.
Knowledge of backup technologies and integration with enterprise storage.
Experience with storage monitoring, capacity management, and performance troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Windows/Linux server storage connectivity.
