Position Area Sales Manager /n Location Coimbatore /n Department Sales- Modern Trade /n Reporting to Head of MT /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Sales and Revenue Management

/n

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the Modern Trade channel.

/n

- Develop and execute strategies to drive volume, market share, and profitability in

/n /n contemporary trade outlets. /n /n

- Monitor and analyze sales performance and implement corrective measures to

/n /n bridge gaps. /n /n

- Key Account Management

/n

- Build and maintain relationships with key modern trade accounts in the assigned

/n /n territory. /n /n

- Negotiate and execute agreements, promotions, and displays with key accounts.

/n

- Ensure seamless operations with modern trade chains, including stock availability

/n /n and merchandising. /n /n

- Team Management and Coordination

/n

- Lead and guide a team of Sales Officers and Merchandisers to execute plans

/n /n effectively. /n /n

- Train and develop the team to improve productivity and sales execution.

/n

- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement trade marketing activities.

/n





- Distributor and Supply Chain Management

/n

- Ensure proper supply chain management to avoid stock-outs at customer points.

/n

- Monitor distributor performance and ensure adherence to company policies and

/n /n procedures. /n /n

- Regularly review inventory levels and ensure optimal stocking at modern trade

/n /n outlets. /n /n

- Market Insights and Reporting

/n /n /n

- Conduct regular market visits to ensure proper execution of sales and promotional

/n /n activities. /n /n

- Gather and analyze competitor activity and consumer trends in the modern trade

/n /n segment. /n /n

- Prepare and share sales reports, forecasts, and market insights with the

/n /n management team. /n /n

- Compliance and Process Adherence

/n

- Ensure adherence to company policies, trade practices, and ethical standards in all

/n /n business dealings. /n /n

- Maintain proper documentation of sales agreements and other essential records.
