- SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)




- STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)Test Case Writing and Test Scenario Preparation
- Bug Reporting and Defect Lifecycle Management
- Functional Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and Sanity Testing
- API Testing Basics and Postman Fundamentals
- Database Testing Basics and SQL Query Understanding
- Understanding of Automation Testing fundamentals and ability to create basic automated test scripts
- Understanding of automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools will be preferred
- Basic understanding of software quality assurance standards and testing documentation

DESIRED COMPETENCIES:

- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, defect identification, and quality assurance processes.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability with strong attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of automation testing concepts and willingness to learn modern testing tools.

- Positive attitude, learning mindset, and adaptability to work in fast-paced testing environments.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform manual testing of web applications,



software products, websites, and web applications.
- Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and execute testing activities as per project requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and report software bugs and defects clearly and accurately.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing during development cycles.
- Validate APIs and perform basic API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Work with developers to reproduce issues and support the defect resolution process.
- Maintain testing documentation and ensure software quality standards are followed.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of automation testing concepts with a strong willingness to learn modern testing tools and technologies.
