Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Project Engineer – Rooftop Solar to join our Projects team. The candidate will support the execution of rooftop solar EPC projects, including site coordination, material planning, installation, commissioning, and site assessments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh engineering graduate/diploma holder looking to build a career in the rooftop solar industry.
Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end execution of rooftop solar installation projects.
Assist in site planning, coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning.
Coordinate with site teams, vendors, labour contractors, and other stakeholders.
Assist in preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects.
Coordinate with the Purchase team for material procurement and site logistics.
Assist in preparing techno-commercial proposals and project documentation.
Participate in site surveys and assessments for new projects.
Ensure proper quality and safety practices at project sites.
Support the O&M; team with post-commissioning issues when required.
Maintain project-related reports, records, and documentation.
Travel to project sites across India as required.
Eligibility & Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and engineering drawings is preferred.
AutoCAD 2D proficiency is mandatory.
Candidates who do not know AutoCAD 3D will be required to complete the course at their own cost before confirmation.
Required Skills
Good communication and coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Valuable problem-solving and learning ability.
Ability to work at project sites and coordinate with multiple teams.
Fluent in English and Hindi; Marathi will be an advantage.
Willingness to travel frequently across India.
