Junior Motion Graphics Designer / Animator /n /n Function: ISB Studios, Marketing and Communications /n Reports to: Senior Manager, Post-Production /n /n Role Overview /n ISB Studios is looking for a Junior Motion Graphics Designer / Animator with strong design fundamentals, animation skills and an interest in visual storytelling. /n The role requires the ability to understand content, interpret creative briefs and translate ideas into storyboards, visual concepts and engaging animation . /n /n Key Responsibilities /n Motion Graphics & Animation /n /n

- Create and animate 2D motion graphics, typography, titles, infographics, diagrams, data visualisations and transitions.

/n

- Integrate motion graphics effectively with interviews, live-action footage, voice-over and edited sequences.

/n

- Apply strong fundamentals of timing, movement, composition and animation.

/n /n Content & Visual Storytelling /n /n

- Understand scripts, briefs and source material before developing visual treatments.

/n

- Translate complex information into clear and engaging visual communication.

/n

- Time graphics and animation to support the content rather than use motion purely for visual impact.

/n /n Storyboarding & Design /n /n

- Develop mood boards, style frames, storyboards and animatics where required.

/n

- Apply strong fundamentals of typography, colour, composition, hierarchy and layout.

/n





- Maintain ISB's visual identity across all motion-design outputs.

/n /n Collaboration & Delivery /n /n

- Work closely with editors, producers, designers and creative leads.

/n

- Incorporate feedback effectively and manage revisions within timelines.

/n

- Adapt assets across formats including 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1.

/n

- Maintain organised project files, assets and versions.

/n /n Learning & Emerging Tools /n /n

- Stay updated on motion-design trends, animation techniques and emerging creative technologies.

/n

- Explore responsible use of AI-assisted tools for ideation, storyboarding, asset creation and production efficiency.

/n /n /n Skills & Experience /n /n

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in motion graphics, animation or video design.

/n

- Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects .

/n

- Positive knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop, with basic knowledge of Premiere Pro.

/n

- Strong design and animation fundamentals.

/n

- Ability to create storyboards, style frames and visual concepts from a brief.

/n

- Knowledge of Cinema 4D, Blender, Figma or similar tools is an advantage.

/n

- Curiosity, attention to detail and willingness to continuously learn.

/n

- Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating motion-design and animation skills is mandatory.
