Key Responsibilities
Supplier &
Factory Management
Own relationships with footwear manufacturers and key suppliers.
Drive factory production planning, capacity allocation, and execution to meet business requirements.
Monitor supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
Production &
On-Time Delivery
Own end-to-end production execution from order placement to dispatch.
Ensure adherence to production schedules, timely dispatches, and TAT commitments.
Proactively identify and resolve production bottlenecks to minimize delays.
Sourcing &
Cost Optimisation
Develop sourcing strategies across footwear categories.
Drive commercial negotiations, cost benchmarking, and value engineering without compromising quality or timelines.
Product Development &
Cross-functional Coordination
Partner with Product Development, Planning, Quality, and Logistics to ensure smooth NPD execution and bulk production readiness.
Ensure supplier readiness for recent launches and seasonal transitions.
Supply Chain &
Inventory
Coordinate with Planning to prioritize production based on business demand.
Work with Logistics to ensure timely pickups, dispatches, and inventory availability.




Compliance &
Continuous Improvement
Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with quality and manufacturing standards.
Drive process improvements to enhance factory productivity, OTIF, and lead times.
Reporting &
Governance
Track and report key sourcing and production KPIs including OTIF, production adherence, dispatch TAT, cost, andsupplier performance.
Maintain accurate documentation of POs, production plans, and supplier commitments.

Requirement:
Extremely robust with vendor management & negotiations
Strong project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
8+ years of experience in sourcing, or a related field preferably as account manager in Footwear, Fast Fashion, Retail etc.
Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, materials, and cost structures.
Experience with product development, quality control, and compliance standards.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs
