Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor for a full-time on-site role located in

Bengaluru. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting senior quantity surveyors with the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bill of quantities and cost estimates. They will also be responsible for conducting quantitative risk analysis and evaluating ongoing project costs and progress in conjunction with project managers.

Job Role & Responsibility

- To Prepare Tender, GFC BOQ and comparative sheets for the same.
- Timely preparation of technical data & amp; unit rate analysis.
- Preparation of BBS for high-rise buildings for RCC Structures.
- Assisting senior QS in the preparation of Purchase orders, commercial offers and other documents.




- Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
- Updating the database for rates, specifications, vendor details etc.,
- Reviewing AutoCAD plans and preparing bills of quantities.
- To minimize the cost of a project and enhance value for money while still achieving the required standards and quality.
- Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
- Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
- Prepare contract documents including bills of quantities.
- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
- Supporting senior members of the team in the day-to-day management and delivery of projects.
- Liaising with suppliers and contractors to proposals/quotations and carry out evaluation .

Skills

- Robust technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Autodesk. Knowledge of Cost X and Blue Beam is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, software, and techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and arithmetic skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in team environments.
- 2-4 years of experience working in the construction industry and with construction estimating software is a plus.
