Shaar Gold is a contemporary gold jewellery brand focused on lightweight, versatile, and investable fine jewellery designed to be worn every day.

We are opening our retail store in Pune and are looking for warm, confident, and customer-focused Jewellery Sales Associates to represent Shaar inside the store.

Role Overview

As a Jewellery Sales Associate, you will be responsible for creating an engaging, warm and trustworthy store experience for customers. Your role will be to welcome customers, understand their needs, explain products clearly, and help them discover pieces that suit their style, occasion, budget, and everyday lifestyle.

This role is ideal for someone who has experience in jewellery retail, enjoys interacting with customers, and can build trust through strong product knowledge, patience, and thoughtful communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and create a warm, premium, and comfortable store experience
- Understand customer needs and suggest suitable jewellery pieces based on style, occasion, budget, and usage
- Explain product details clearly, including gold purity, karat, weight, pricing, hallmarking, value, and care instructions
- Help first-time or younger gold buyers feel confident and informed while making a purchase
- Support customers through the complete sales process, from browsing to billing
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat visits
- Maintain store presentation, visual merchandising, and product display standards
- Keep track of customer preferences, enquiries, feedback, objections, and follow-ups
- Support store events,



launches, walk-ins, and customer engagement activities
- Stay proactive during slower store hours by supporting follow-ups, display upkeep, customer outreach, and store readiness
- Coordinate with the store manager/founders for inventory, customer requests, product feedback, and daily updates
- Ensure the store is clean, organised, and ready for customers at all times

Ideal Candidate

- 2–3 years of experience in jewellery retail sales is required
- Robust understanding of gold jewellery, customer handling, and retail sales
- Confident, polite, well-groomed, and presentable
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi
- Marathi is good to have
- Warm, approachable, and non-pushy in their sales approach
- Comfortable explaining gold, pricing, purity, and value in a simple and trustworthy way
- Able to understand customer preferences and recommend products thoughtfully
- Patient, proactive, detail-oriented, and service-minded
- Comfortable working in a retail store environment, including weekends and mall working hours
- Basic comfort with billing systems, WhatsApp follow-ups, and customer data entry is a plus
