Java Developer – Kubernetes, Data Structures & Algorithms

Location: Remote India

Experience: 4–10 Years

Employment Type: Full‑time

Role Overview

We are seeking a strong Java Developer with hands-on experience in Kubernetes , solid understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms , and the ability to build scalable, high‑performance backend systems. This role requires deep technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced engineering workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance Java applications using Java 8/11+.
- Build and deploy microservices on Kubernetes (K8s) clusters.
- Implement scalable backend services using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and distributed systems .
- Apply strong knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms to solve complex engineering problems.
- Work with Docker, CI/CD pipelines , and cloud-native deployment workflows.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to deliver robust solutions.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong Java development experience (Java 8/11/17).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, services, pods, config maps, secrets).
- Solid understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms — must be able to write optimized code.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs .
- Good understanding of multithreading, concurrency, collections, JVM internals .
- Experience with Docker , CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI/GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems .
- Exposure to Helm charts , service mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Experience with performance tuning and high‑scale systems .
- Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong coding fundamentals and ability to solve algorithmic problems.
