Data Eminence is seeking a motivated Java Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of Java-based applications and backend services.

You will collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, database engineers, and other technical teams to transform business requirements into reliable software solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience with modern Java development and enterprise application technologies while working remotely.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Developing and maintaining applications using Java
- Writing clean, reusable, and maintainable code
- Building and integrating RESTful APIs
- Working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Developing and optimizing database queries
- Using frameworks such as Spring Boot to build backend services
- Implementing application features based on business requirements
- Debugging and resolving software issues
- Writing unit tests and supporting application quality

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in Java development or a relevant internship
- Strong understanding of Java programming fundamentals
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with Spring or Spring Boot is a plus
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of data structures and basic algorithms
- Familiarity with Git and version control
