Mandatory Skills: Production Support Scripting with PowerShell Linux Incident Response and Mgmt ITSM
Job Description Position Overview • Technology: IT Operations/Support Engineer • Location: Gift City • Qualification Profile: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or in related field.
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in handling financial critical system operation for Exchange, Clearing Corporation or banking industry.
Key Responsibilities • Own and execute critical night-shift EOD (End-of-Day) and BOD (Beginning-of-Day) batch processes.
- Perform system health checks, database backups, and readiness validations before market open.
- Acknowledge, investigate, and resolve production issues via the ITSM ticketing tool.
- Manage incidents strictly according to severity levels and business SLA timelines.
- Escalate complex software bugs to development teams with detailed log analysis.
- Troubleshoot automated batch failures and safely restart processing sequences.
- Robust command-line skills for log parsing and process management.
- Ability to read, modify, and execute Bash, Shell scripts.
- Responsible for deploy release deployment in mock as well as pre prod environment.
- Responsible to provide application support and resolve the application issue with testing and developer team.
- Preparing hourly basis DC production Checklist and publishing checklist over the email.
- Daily scrum call for security open issues with security team to make resolution faster.
- Testing Support for development at DR Site and DC Production file generation for EOD Process (As & When Required).
- Daily Performing DC-DR syncup for front end and back-end files, Preparing and sharing report.
- Dedicated support for In house CMR peck margin and CMR files generation.
