About the Role

We are seeking a Senior / Lead iOS Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality iOS applications and reusable SDKs. This role requires strong technical depth in iOS engineering along with leadership capability to guide a team, influence architecture decisions, and drive best practices across projects.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, QA, backend teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-centric mobile solutions while mentoring engineers and shaping the long-term iOS technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

- Lead the architecture, design, and development of iOS applications and reusable SDKs using Swift.
- Define and enforce scalable architectures such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar to ensure long-term maintainability and testability.
- Establish and drive coding standards, best practices, and engineering guidelines for the iOS team.
- Own technical decision-making for iOS platforms, frameworks, SDK design, and third-party integrations.
- Ensure high performance, memory efficiency, security, and reliability across all iOS deliverables.

Development & Delivery

- Build modern, scalable user interfaces using SwiftUI and UIKit, following Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
- Develop modular, reusable SDKs that can be consumed across multiple iOS applications.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and internal frameworks.
- Manage dependencies using CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager (SPM).
- Write and enforce comprehensive unit tests and UI tests using XCTest and XCUITest.
- Drive CI/CD adoption for iOS applications and SDKs, ensuring reliable build and release pipelines.




- Actively contribute hands-on code for critical features and complex technical components.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

- Lead, mentor, and coach junior and mid-level iOS developers.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and engineering maturity.
- Support hiring and technical interviews for iOS roles.
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

- Partner with product managers, designers, QA, and backend teams to define requirements, estimates, and delivery timelines.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Communicate technical trade-offs, risks, and progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Take ownership of deliverables and ensure timely, high-quality releases in a quick-paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8–12+ years of experience in iOS application development, with at least 2–4 years in a senior or lead role.
- Expert-level proficiency in Swift and deep understanding of iOS SDKs.
- Solid hands-on experience with SwiftUI and UIKit for building production-grade user interfaces.
- Proven experience in iOS SDK / framework development and maintaining reusable components.
- Strong expertise in MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modern iOS design patterns.




- Extensive experience writing unit tests and UI tests using XCTest and XCUITest.
- Experience with CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager (SPM) for dependency management.
- Solid understanding of multithreading, memory management (ARC), and performance optimization.
- Proven experience integrating RESTful APIs and applying networking best practices.
- Hands-on experience setting up or managing CI/CD pipelines for iOS applications.
- Proficiency with Git, Xcode, and iOS debugging and profiling tools (Instruments, LLDB).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in service-based or client-driven organizations with multiple stakeholders.

Nice to Have
- Experience publishing and maintaining SDKs or internal frameworks used across multiple products or teams.
- Experience leading end-to-end delivery of large-scale iOS applications.
- Exposure to cross-platform architectures or shared business-logic layers.
- Experience with mobile security, data encryption, and secure API integration.
- Prior experience building or scaling an iOS team from the ground up.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
