Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee end-to-end inventory and warehouse operations in the pharmaceutical industry. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock, batch and expiry tracking, FEFO compliance, inventory reconciliation, ERP transactions, and adherence to GMP/GDP and company SOPs. Pharma inventory roles commonly require strict batch-wise traceability, expiry monitoring, FEFO and audit-ready documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage inventory of raw materials, packing materials, WIP and finished goods.

- Maintain accurate batch-wise, lot-wise and expiry-wise inventory records.

- Ensure strict implementation of FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) and FIFO wherever applicable.

- Monitor stock levels, safety stock, reorder levels and prevent stock-outs or overstocking.

- Track near-expiry, slow-moving, non-moving and obsolete inventory and initiate corrective action.

- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly physical stock verification, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.

- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies between physical inventory and ERP records.

- Ensure proper segregation and identification of approved, quarantine, rejected, returned, expired and damaged materials.

- Ensure appropriate storage conditions, including temperature, humidity, cleanliness and safety requirements, as applicable to the product.

- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, QA, QC, Dispatch, Logistics and Finance teams.

- Ensure timely receipt, storage, issue and dispatch of materials as per approved SOPs.

- Maintain GRN, stock registers, issue/return records, batch records and other inventory documentation.





- Ensure accurate and timely transactions in SAP/ERP/WMS and maintain system data accuracy.

- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly inventory MIS and management reports.

- Support internal, customer and regulatory audits and ensure timely closure of inventory-related observations.

- Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, SOPs and applicable pharmaceutical quality requirements.

- Lead and supervise warehouse/inventory staff and ensure adherence to safety, hygiene and operational procedures.

- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, reduce wastage and optimize inventory carrying costs.

Required Qualifications

- Graduate in B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / B.Com / Supply Chain or related field.

- 4–8 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical inventory or warehouse operations.

- Candidates with hands-on experience in a pharma manufacturing, distribution or healthcare environment will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of pharma inventory management and warehouse operations.

- Excellent understanding of Batch, Expiry, FEFO/FIFO and stock reconciliation.

- Knowledge of GMP/GDP and SOP compliance.

- Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP/WMS.

- Strong MS Excel and MIS reporting skills.

- Team handling and coordination skills.

- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.

- High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Pay: Up to ₹65,000.00 per month
