We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Accounts team. The candidate will be responsible for accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth business operations.

Eligibility Criteria
BCom / MCom with a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience OR Inter CA with a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
Solid working knowledge of Tally is mandatory.
Valuable understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices – Technical interview of Journal Entries will be taken.
Proficiency accounting-related documentation and MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities
Verify and authorize purchase bills after checking supporting documents and approvals.
Audit inward register entries against gate passes and ensure accurate recording of goods received.
Create and maintain vendor master records in Tally.
Update, revise, and freeze approved purchase rates in Tally as per directives.
Process debit notes for purchase shortages, damages, and other vendor-related claims.




Communicate debit note details to vendors through email and maintain proper records.
Follow up with vendors for issuance of credit notes against debit notes raised.
Reconcile vendor ledgers periodically and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Coordinate with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team to resolve invoice-related queries and discrepancies.
Participate in periodic stock-taking and inventory verification exercises.
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory and procurement-related accounting records.
Assist in monthly and year-end account closing activities
Assist in statutory compliance and audit-related requirements
Support the Accounts Manager in day-to-day accounting and finance functions
