Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient Deputy Manager – Actuarial with experience in the Life and Annuity insurance domain. The ideal candidate should possess a robust actuarial foundation combined with hands-on programming and data analysis skills to support actuarial modeling, valuation, pricing, reporting, and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Support actuarial valuation, pricing, product development, and financial reporting activities for Life and Annuity products.
Analyze, validate, and transform large volumes of actuarial and policy data.
Develop and maintain data processing, automation, and reporting solutions using Python, R, SQL, and VBA.
Work closely with actuarial, technology, and business teams to implement and enhance actuarial models and processes.
Perform data quality checks, reconciliations, and analytical reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist in model validation, testing, documentation, and process improvements.
Prepare actuarial reports,



management information, and regulatory deliverables as required.
Contribute to continuous process improvement through automation and best practices.

Required Skills & Competencies:
Robust understanding of Life Insurance and Annuity products and actuarial concepts.
Hands-on experience in data manipulation and analysis using:o Python/R/SQL/VBA
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
Ability to work with large datasets and build automated solutions.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team workplace.

Preferred Skills:
Experience working with MG-ALFA (Milliman MG-ALFA) actuarial modeling software will be a strong advantage.
Exposure to actuarial valuation systems, financial reporting, or modeling platforms
Familiarity with insurance regulatory and reporting requirements.
