Placement Opportunity: Full-time placement based on performance during the internship
About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic Finance Interns who are interested in combining their finance knowledge with business development and client interaction. The candidate should be comfortable communicating with clients, making calls, and supporting the advisory team in financial risk management activities.
Educational Qualification
- MBA / BBA – Finance / B.Com
- Specialization in Finance preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of English
- Comfortable with regular client interaction
- Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic setting
- Flexible attitude with a Sales & Marketing mindset
- Should be comfortable with Business Development activities
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Risk Management
- Learn and understand Foreign Exchange (FX) and Interest Rate Risk Management.
- Develop knowledge of Technical and Fundamental Analysis.
- Assist senior team members in preparing reports and analysis.
- Create and update MIS related to FX exposures of clients.
- Assist seniors with RBI/FEMA-related activities and documentation.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's products and services.
Client Acquisition & Business Development
- Conduct data mining using the central database to identify prospective clients.
- Make cold calls to prospective clients and explain relevant products/services.
- Generate leads and schedule meetings with prospective clients.
- Coordinate meetings between prospective clients and senior advisors.
- Communicate the company's products and services effectively to potential clients.
- Work towards achieving monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual calling and meeting-scheduling targets.
Business Development
- Business Development will be a secondary function of the role.
- Responsible for target-based business development based on leads provided by the organization.
- Support the team in converting qualified leads into potential business opportunities.
