Job Description: Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of a steel trading and supplying business dealing with roofing sheets, pipes, steel flats, and related products.
Key Responsibilities: Manage daily business and operational activities.
Coordinate sales, purchase, stock, logistics, and delivery operations.
Handle suppliers, customers, transporters, and other business partners.
Monitor inventory, stock movement and material availability.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to customers.
Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor purchase orders, sales orders, dispatches and deliveries.
Develop and maintain valuable relationships with suppliers and customers.
Identify operational issues and implement effective solutions.
Ensure proper documentation and follow-up of orders and payments.
Lead and supervise operational staff.
Candidate RequirementsAny Degree.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in the steel/roofing sheets/pipes/steel trading or closely related industry.
Strong knowledge of steel products and market operations.
Positive communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
Ability to manage teams and handle multiple operational activities.
Solid knowledge of suppliers, customers, transport and local market operations will be an advantage.
