Job Title: Event Operations Manager – Field Role (Labour Handling)

Location: Chennai

Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (extended hours during events when required)

About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Event Operations Manager to manage on-ground execution of events. This is a field-intensive role involving labour handling, vendor coordination, and real-time problem solving during event setups.

This is NOT a desk job.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise labour teams (10–50 workers) for event setup and dismantling
Ensure all work is completed on time as per schedule
Coordinate with vendors (Site managers, Office Stockist, Godown Stockist, etc.)
Handle last-minute changes and on-site challenges
Maintain discipline and productivity of labour on-site
Oversee quality and finishing of event structures

Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience in event operations / site supervision / warehousing / construction




Must have experience handling labour teams
Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability
Willing to work long hours and be fully in office
Fluent in Tamil (mandatory)
Basic Hindi/English

Event companies (weddings, exhibitions, corporate events)
Tent house / shamiana setups
Stage / Warehousing / construction site supervision

Compensation:
Fixed Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹23,000/month (based on experience)
Potential Incentives in the future (Will discuss in person)
