Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented API 6D Valve Design Engineer with robust experience in valve design, engineering calculations, and product development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing API-compliant valves, ensuring product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop API 6D Ball Valves, Plug Valves, and API 609 Butterfly Valves based on customer specifications and industry requirements.
Perform engineering calculations including pressure, stress, sealing, torque, and design validation calculations.
Prepare and review General Arrangement (GA) drawings, detailed manufacturing drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Ensure compliance with API 6D, API 609, and other applicable international standards and codes.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Project teams to support product development and execution.
Participate in design reviews and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.




Support product customization, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and testing activities.
Ensure timely completion of design deliverables while maintaining quality standards.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Robust hands-on experience in API 6D Valve Design.
Expertise in engineering calculations and design validation.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Positive understanding of valve components, materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly practices.
Knowledge of international valve standards and industry codes.

Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to customer specifications and requirements within the Oil & Gas industry.
Knowledge of valve testing, performance validation, and manufacturing support activities.
