About the Role

Giga Energy is looking for an experienced Senior BIM Engineer / BIM Coordinator to manage and coordinate multi-discipline 3D models for AI data centers, substations, transformers, switchgear, and modular power systems.

Key Responsibilities
Create and manage Revit models for electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
Coordinate multidisciplinary models using Navisworks Manage.
Perform clash detection, issue tracking, and resolution.
Develop and maintain Revit families, templates, parameters, and BIM standards.
Convert equipment/MCAD models from Inventor, SolidWorks, or STEP into Revit content.
Prepare GA drawings, layouts, sections, installation details, and quantity takeoffs.
Support fabrication, manufacturing, and site teams with model-based information.
Maintain model quality, revisions, and as-built updates.
Coordinate with engineering teams and ensure projects meet BIM schedules and standards.

Required Qualifications
6+ years of BIM/3D modelling experience.
Minimum 3 years of multi-discipline BIM coordination experience.
Expert knowledge of Autodesk Revit, including family creation and worksharing.




Strong experience with Navisworks Manage and clash detection.
Experience with electrical infrastructure, such as substations, transformers, switchgear, or power distribution.
Ability to read SLDs, electrical drawings, P&IDs;, and structural drawings.
Valuable knowledge of NEC/NFPA, IEEE, ANSI C57, UL 891, and NEMA standards.
Solid communication and coordination skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, BIM, or related field.
