We are looking for a hardworking and responsible Commis Chef to assist our senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
Assist chefs with food preparation and cooking.
Cut vegetables and prepare ingredients, gravies and marinades.
Prepare dishes according to standard recipes and portion sizes.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
Store ingredients properly and check freshness.
Follow instructions from the Head Chef and senior kitchen staff.
Help control food wastage and manage stock.
Work efficiently during busy service hours
